Breakfast buffet was better than most I have seen at the chain hotels. The front desk staff was friendly. The room itself offered enough space for a family of 4.

The shuttle bus service to the airport took longer than initially expected.

This time, nothing.
Negatives:
I booked a room for 2 nights and provided my credit card. I explicitly mentioned that I'm going to arrive at 07:00 am (and agreed to pay for a full "last night", just to secure the room early in the morning). When I arrived the front desk lady told me "we sold your room yesterday since you did not arrive and we don't have any available rooms for you...".
I explained the situation, including my explicit comment in the Booking app. She couldn't careless.... she didn't spend even a minute to try to assist resolve the problem the hotel created.
I asked to talked to the manager - the answer was "he is busy with other phone calls". I waited for the manager more than 20 minutes, asked again to talk to him, nothing happened...
Unfortunately, since I have to be in NY for business meetings the next 2 hours, I crossed the street, paid ~ $300 for 1 hour room (to take a shower) and still the Embassy Suites hotel manager didn't even approach me to check if my problem was resolved.
I have been staying with the Embassy Suites by Hilton Newark Airport in all of my business travels in the past 3 years.
I have never faced such a poor level of service.
Maybe it is the right time to look for more accommodating hotel with a better quality of service.

Breakfast was excellent! The cocktails at the end of the day is an added bonus
Room was clean and comfortable ( My family think you exceeded in this regard).
Location is great - not only for arrival/departing Newark, Airport/ but, should we decide to visit New York again we'll prefer to stay at your hotel!
Negatives:
Our stay was too short!
We did not like that we didn't know that one can stay in New Jersey and visit New York.
