Hampton Inn Linden

Negatives: Although the hotel had empty rooms we were put in a room overlooking two of their roofs and the parking lot. The food was awful and didn’t get replenished. I asked for a muffin and I was told they couldn’t put any more out then. I had to wait an hour. The front desk staff seemed clueless. Not one smile. Totally distracted. One was counting change for 5 minutes while we waited to check in. We were supposed to get room service after two days. We asked for new towels and for our trash to be taken away. They never came. We asked for it to be done the following day. They never came. No new towels our entire stay. Our trash was littering our floor because there was no more room in the two trash cans. And the bags in the trash cans in the breakfast area weren’t taken out once during the breakfast period. So they too were overflowing when I arrived for breakfast. Nothing was replenished so the creamers for coffee were empty. Totally unsatisfactory experience.

Negatives: Checkin staff not attentive, seemed distracted. Coffee dispenser at lobby had no creamer; coffee quality poor.

Negatives: I stayed in room 149. The complaint I had was the water pusher, which was low in the sink, and the shower water was luke warm. Please have that fix so the next person will not have to go through that.

Negatives: Night staff was a bit abrupt, his customer service was poor. We went to grab snacks and again he made us feel as though we were imposing on him. When we checked in the staff explained nothing just suddenly told me to insert my card. We had a bit of luggage and requested a cart and again staff was dismissive and no cart was available.

Negatives: Pricing getting up there a little bit. But compared to some other places won’t complain

Negatives: Cleaning materials had a very strong smell/odour. First night when we arrived we thought that we might not be able to spend 4 nights in here. But over the night the odour a little bit disappeared, so it was okay. But when it was time to clean up the room then there smelled again, but again the odour was gone overnight. So for people who are smell-sensitive/have migraine this might not be too good for them. Another thing was the toilet, it didn’t work properly. When flushing it was just weirdly slow. One time it didn’t flush at all so had to call the reception.

Negatives: Breakfast food could be hotter. I also liked that you could get coffee or tea free whenever you wanted.

Negatives: Nothing in particular to highlight - I simply enjoyed my stay at this hotel! :)
