Positives:
The hotel is in a great location to shopping and local highways. The beds are comfortable, and the TV is well positioned. The lobby is clean and that is a plus. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The hotel has become outdated and not well maintained. The rooms no longer have refrigerators or microwaves, the shower was slow to drain, and the bathroom was not well kept. The carpet is desperate to be replaced as well as updated electrical outlets to include USB/USB-c plugs. The air conditioner was very loud. I am disappointed as it was once my go to hotel when traveling to NJ. I have another reservation that I will be cancelling very soon.

Had to park in the back of the building both nights because the side parking lot was full. The hallway to my room was sort of muggy/hot. The AC unit made a noise while running, it wasn’t unbearable but it would have been nice to not hear it.

I liked that the hotel was pet friendly. That is where what I liked begins and ends, unfortunately.
Negatives:
Upon arrival, I was told to park the UHAUL I drove in around back, and then (with my arms full of my luggage) found that the doors were locked and had to re-route to the front of the building with my cat in-tow. My room was around a quarter of a mile away from where I checked in, and once I finally did gain access I immediately saw that it had noticeable areas that weren't clean. The carpet and bed sheets had stains on them, and the rubber gasket around the shower was moldy. The refrigerator in the room did not work. The ice machine on the 2nd floor also did not work (no signage on either piece of equipment). I was glad this was a one night stay, and I would find a different hotel if I were you.
