Very unassuming, fairly priced, and perfectly located for transit to and from Newark, Sonesta Suites in Parsippany is a great place to stay with the family. The facilities are clean, the staff is extremely nice, the breakfast is to the point, with many options for kids, and the pool is small, which makes it perfect for kids. We were there in the spring, so everything around us was green and lush. Even though the property is located close to the highway, it's far enough so there is zero noise. Like any suburban area in New Jersey, a car is needed for everything, but surprisingly, walking around the hotel in the morning is very nice. They even let us check out late on our last day.
Negatives:
The only thing is that reception has only one person. The staff is great, but if you get stuck behind a few guests checking in, you can find yourself waiting for a few minutes.

My sheets were dirty upon arrival, could barely reach anyone at the front desk to request an extra night or for extra amenities such as towels, toilet paper, etc. Hallways reeked of marijuana and guests were quite loud throughout the night and early morning.
