Positives: The Nassau Inn is steeped in Princeton tradition, so having the iconic Tap Room right there to gather with friends is really what make this place special. That it's centrally located, walkable to everything in town with parking garages very near by is also a huge bonus. The bed was very comfortable
Negatives: The decor is very dated. It reads mid-90s Calico Corners. There was no central switch to turn on the lights in my room. To get a decent amount of light I had to turn on two table lamps, a floor lamp and a desk lamp that were placed around the room. Then before I went to bed I had to do a lap around the room and turn off each light individually. Not a hardship but not ideal. I am wondering when American hotels are going to adopt the same practice used in many European hotels. When you enter your room you jam your key into a holder that allows you to turn the lights on. When you leave the room and take your key, it automatically turns off all the lights. It saves electricity and the operating cost of the hotel. Just a thought.

Positives: Great location, friendly staff
Negatives: Cheaper room options would be good. Didn't eat at the bar as limited vegan/veggie options.

Positives: Location in Princeton. Bed was comfortable.
Negatives: Did not feel secure as the room I was given had an internal adjoining door to the next room. I could hear clearly this person's conversations on the phone, their snoring and toilet activities throughout the night. Building was being renovated and banging noises were prevalent in my room in the morning. This was an issue I had a long flight and had jet lag, would liked to have slept in. Sought change of room and was told as I had pre-paid through booking.com that I couldn't be moved. Bathroom was old. Have stayed there four times before and never had these issues.

Positives: Great location in Princeton. The staff were friendly and attentive.
Negatives: For the cost the facilities were tired and lacked comfort. But could be tolerated if things like upgrading beds and bedding to high-end comfort, updated furniture, and general maintenance was addressed.
