Positives:
I chose La Quinta because we were getting work done at our house, and the location was very convenient. They also allowed us to bring our dog, which was great! There was an extra fee for the dog, but no hassle at all. The room had a bit of a retro 1970s vibe, but it worked just fine for us.
Negatives:
I stayed at La Quinta for four nights, and every time we left the room, the key stopped working. We had to go to the lobby to get it replaced each time, which was a huge inconvenience. Additionally, while the hotel has a pool, every time we wanted to swim, there were children's swimming classes taking up the entire pool. They say guests are welcome to swim as well, but it's not ideal to share the pool with a bunch of kids during their lessons.

The entire hotel needs an upgrade and general improvements. The carpet in the hotel at Secaucus location looks really dirty and outdated. The front lobby is not welcoming. The pool area needs improvement. For the price I paid the hotel was not impressive.

Good hotel with friendly staff. Tamia on the reception was good. Location is near to bus stop from there bus #320 will take u exactly to newyork downtown. Free parking available.

Room was tired and needed a refurb, the water wasn't hot at all so had to speak to them. he said he'd check but never came back to me. we found it working a bit later but not for long.
