Delta Hotels by Marriott Somerset

Negatives: Paper thin walls-we could hear everything happening in every room around us, as well as from the halls. Our room and bathroom were not properly cleaned- especially the shower stall. The person who checked us in was not very friendly. We couldn’t wait to leave this place.

Negatives: The bartender was rude and acted like I was bothering him to get me a menu or to serve me. I didn't want to sit at the bar which seemed to annoy him bc he wasn't able to just loop around and stay in one area. What if I had a drinking problem and didn't want to be tempted? How he acted was really less than desirable with me wanting to sit at a table. I almost left but I was hungry. I was also alone and didn't want to sit at the bar with guys who were alone or with a friend or two. Just wanted my space and do some work. I was a server and bartender for many years and if I were to have ever talked to a customer like he did me, or acted like he did I would have been fired. The girl he was training was very sweet though.

Negatives: Room & restaurant food service was good but quality of food, as has also been our experience previously in the US, falls short of one's expectations..

Negatives: Earlier dining room hours in the afternoon, for Happy Hour. No menu posted or in the rooms. Seems like dining room/bar is only geared towards business guests.
