Hot drink selection poor, kettle would be better (we did ask for one), our room had no fridge some rooms did . We just asked for fresh milk from the bar

The location was superb for us with the NY Waterways ferry going every 20 mins to Midtown Manhattan. The restaurant at the hotel was very good. I had a lovely salmon dinner.

Proximity and ease to get to Manhattan , but being far away from the unpleasantness of the same
Negatives:
The carpet in the room really needs a good clean , after walking around for 5-10 minutes in the room trying to organise out stuff , our white socks turned dark brown. That wasn’t very pleasant . Also no slippers to try and stay off the carpet.

The room was extremely spacious with all the necessary amenities, a comfortable bed, a living room with sofas.
There is a refrigerator in the room / many people write that there is not, there already is /
Spacious bathroom, ironing table, iron, enough space for luggage. Many lighting devices. A wonderful view of Manhattan from the window.
There is a luggage storage room which was a big plus for us because we arrived early and left the hotel late in the evening.
