Red Roof Inn & Suites Mt Holly - McGuire AFB

Negatives: Persons working the desk very rude and abrupt. She refuse to answer simple request of information regarding our booking. She was not wearing a name tag. She refused to give me her name because I told her I would call the cooperate office about her behavior toward guest. She also refused to call her manager or give us cooperate number. This incident took place 10/26/24 between 6:00-7:00pm. My friend and I come often to this location, however we will not be returning.

Negatives: The first room they gave us was completely trashed and dirty with dust all over as if someone had been staying there. It also was not the room I had booked, they gave 2 full or queen beds when I had booked for 1 King. After going back to the counter and letting them know, their was no apology but they did give us a new room. When we got to the new room, they did give us 1 King instead of 2 doubles or queens, but it was still very dirty. The sheets were stained with some yellow stain, there was also other dark dots on the sheets that appeared as mold, and when my fiancé pulled back the sheet he found a bed bug. Not to mention the room smelt like a mixture of weed and wet dog, as well as the hallways. Safe to say after having this experience in the second room, we just ended up leaving and driving the 2 and a half hours back home at 3 am. When we got to the car, we called them inside to let them know we were not going to be staying in the room due to the hazardous health conditions but when the call went through we were immediately told “we’re sold out for the night” and hung up on. I then called back and let them know we were not staying there and requested my money back. I was told to call back in the morning from 8 am - 3 pm. When I called back in the morning, they were unclear whether or not my money would be refunded. Safe to say I would not stay here again even as a last resort.

Negatives: They refused me

Negatives: nothing, and the cleaning staff on a Sunday morning was harassing me to leave the room early they were supposedly sold out they had plenty of rooms to clean and I stayed it to them we have till 11:00 a.m. to check out not happy at all

Negatives: The smell in the room. It smelled musty and looked moldy. It was noisy in room due to appliance. Needs to be updated. No soap at sink, fortunately I had some.

Negatives: Awful room with peeling plaster, worn furniture, no lamp on one side of bed, no electric plugs except in bathroom, cracked and old sink in bathroom, dirty/moldy caulking in tub and around floor of bathroom, no bathtub plug, no hangars, no kleenex, back door to facility that did not close let alone lock and stayed open all night, dirty junky grass and driveway/parking area with weeds, construction debris, garbage and 12 wild cats darting all around! Corporate needs to fly in, set traps and likely close the place down to preserve the reputation of Red Roof!!!!!!

Negatives: No elevator but I’m okay I need the exercise anyway lol

Negatives: Place was a dump. Doors for the outside didn't lock so anyone could just walk in and out the building plus I got COVID after my stay.

Negatives: The jacuzzi was filthy they need to clean better trash on the floor under the desk just wanted to get away to relax was on vacation for 4 days lucky I only got the room for two days just wanted to soak my body and relax spent the other two days somewhere else

Negatives: Cockroaches so we left the same day as check in. Did not spend the night.

Negatives: Outdated bathrooms
