The front desk worker getting the T.V. to work.

The room was very dirty. It had a lot of bugs climbing in the bathtub and there were dead bugs all over the floor. It wasn't just one spot wherever there was a floor there were dead bugs. The floor was full of dirt. That room was not even worth $---.
Positives:
This is an old roadside motel that has had its rooms upgraded with new flooring, fixtures, finishes and furnishings. I loved the convenience of just just driving up to the door to unload. This is a very good place for an overnight stay in Socorro.
Negatives:
Parking curbs we crumbling and badly deteriorating. The exterior corridor could have used sweeping. Overall some exterior maintenance and care would be welcome.

I prefer to park directly in front of the room,like this place. It was an easy walk to the grocery stor for dinner supplies.

The outside parking lot and walkways were cluttered with trash and laundry. It was disgusting. If I wasn't so tired, I would have moved on.

There was no coffee available, no hot water for tea or oatmeal, cereal was empty. Almost nothing to eat. Electric plug -ins either did not work or were unavailable. The hook up for the heater was not working and was a dangerous situation.

Bed was very comfortable and the room looked like it had been renovated recently. Good fridge and TV.
Negatives:
We needed a kitchenette room which this was but the kitchenette sink had a faucet that was too small. The toilet paper holder was missing the center bar and there was no soap or shampoo for the bath. The TV remote did not work but the office person replaced that.
