Positives: When staff was available, they were very pleasant and helpful
Negatives: Facility seems poorly managed. The hotel’s sign is not visible due to overgrowth of trees and bushes. That seems like a symbol of the hotel- a finely built facility that has no care taken to manage it. Repeatedly there was no one at the front desk. And there seemed to be few staff at all. Our room door did not close properly. The continental breakfast was meager and there were no dishes or silverware. Surprisingly we were charged for breakfast after being told it was complimentary. The menu was just a piece of copy paper cut in half with handwritten corrections. Staff was helpful but the problems seem to be management-centered. If you don’t bother to clear the trees so your sign is visible, that seems like a clear signal the people making decisions don’t know or don’t care

Positives: Location, staff, bed, towels excellent.
Negatives: Halls and rooms showing age and use. Surprised at how much I could hear from room above. Toilet ran. Door didn't close without being pushed. I'm not sure the deadbolt was able to be fully placed - knob wasn't horizontal.

Positives: The young gentleman who did the shuttle duty was very helpful, friendly and respectful. Please give him some credit. He is a good responsible person
Negatives: 1) The hotel ignored my request for the airport shuttle info. I still arrived by shuttle with other guests who knew there will be a shuttle. 2) Last moment, the hotel messaged me that I can only check in before 12am. I have notified them in advance I will be arriving at 1 am 3) When I called the reception desk the lady on the phone was extremely unfriendly 4) The lady also told me they cannon find my reservation, although it had been confirmed earlier. I am at the airport at that moment, checking in for my flight to Albany 5) I called Booking.com and asked them to step in. Booking agent was told, my reservation was found and they have a very flexible check-in policy including arrivals after midnight, there should be no problem 6) I arrived at the hotel and all the drains in the room were extremely slow. Shower was more or less manageable, but the sink was completely clogged and filled up with water quickly 7) We needed the sink to wash some bottles for making baby food for the dream-feed and I went down to reception desk at 2 am and told them we had a problem 8) They told me they could change the room but without a guarantee that drains will be okay. That was not an option anyways 9) I took a plunger from them and tried to unclog the sink drain between 2 am and 3 am, LOL :-) That was quite an experience I should say 10) The drain was hopeless to unclog. It was completely stuck and full of black thick grease. I gave up and cleaned the mess till 4 am Families, better avoid

Negatives: Staff almost made us leave with how rude they were. Explaining breakfast cost was massive head aches. Simple explanations for basic features should be pretty standard and then charge us for you not explaining it correctly? To their credit, we booked this one through booking.com and thays always been a mess dealing with.
