I thought it was perfectly fine. Rooms were fine, view of the rooftop area was nice, check in team and restaurant crew were nice.
Negatives:
I didn't like the crab cake or plantain Rangoon. And the deposit of the hold shouldn't take 21 days to return. That's excessive.

The hotel is super close to the subway and about 5 stops from downtown NYC, which was super important for me to access work. The staff was super nice — helped me out with a package I’d had shipped to the hotel.
Negatives:
The location is a bit questionable, through an alley. Didn’t feel very safe at night with all my luggage. In addition, the breakfast options really left much to be desired.

The surrounding area looks unsafe, room is small and there is no chair and desk to sit, breakfast doesn't have lots of choices.

Decent stay for a few...
Positives:
The location was pretty good. Easy walk across the Madison Ave Bridge into Manhattan and the 4,5 train is on the corner opposite the hotel.
Negatives:
The staff were neither helpful nor friendly. The lobby of the hotel is dominated by a bar which functions as a club on weekends (DJ included) that guests have to walk through to get to the elevators to the rooms. This was really uncomfortable for me and NOT advisable if you are traveling with younger children. The rooms are tiny, there is no place to put anything (and we had just two small backpacks- I couldn’t imagine having real luggage in that space) the glass “box” the contains the shower leaked so the floor in the room was wet after every shower (in the room itself not the bathroom- hard to explain). The first day the leaking water drenched my son’s stuff!
The breakfast was awful- no fruit, lousy coffee, cheaper sugary fake juice.
I will definitely not stay here again nor recommend

Cozy room and access to room thru the elevator was good security
Negatives:
It was a location that after 3pm until 10pm on the weekend you cannot rest because of all the parties going on. They also lied about breakfast. All they had has continental breakfast because ever since covid they eliminated a full breakfast.
