I am sure many guests would have been excited for the DJ party on the rooftop, but I was not interested. So it stopped me from using the rooftop.

this is the last place on earth you should stay if you want a relaxing quiet night. this is basically a place to stay if you want to party late into the night and a convenient place to crash afterwards . the bed was also absolutely uncomfortable.

We really liked the location in Williamsburg, which is a trendy area of Brooklyn. It is also walking distance to Greenpoint and it’s east to reach Manhattan.
The room was really nice, with a balcony with manhattan views. We liked the white noise speakers.
Negatives:
The lift are really slow (ended up taking the stairs several times) and we found that the breakfast offering at the hotel’s restaurant Sungold is pretty standard - in our view it doesn’t compare with what’s offered in nearby cafes and restaurants.
During our stay the hotel organised wellness classes and discounted happy hours. However, we were not told about these events at chekc in (nor they were available on the website). We were sent text messages on our (foreign) mobile phone so we haven’t seen them until we returned from our trip. I wish we were told about this at check in and/or these messages were sent to our email address or e WhatsApp numbers.

There were a few issues about payment - taking a large deposit that I wasn’t expecting; took it twice by mistake abs then took time to pay back and also payment taken in dollars when I thought it would be pounds as I booked through booking.com
