Front guest staff were impeccable, honestly best service I’ve received and I stay at lots of different brands and in different cities. I wish that I could remember the bartender’s name but he was super respectful and had exceptional customer service. My first time in NYC, will be back!

Positives:
Great location. Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The staff were very helpful even supplying their own taxi to take us to JFK airport on our departure. Super pool,sun beds, and pool bar. Much needed dip in the hot weather.
Negatives:
The bedroom was a little small in comparison to other hotels that we had stayed in during our travels in the USA. There's nothing else to mention. At the end of the day, it was beautifully clean with a comfy bed and a great shower.

Nothing. Bad stay so sad. Unclean. Understaffed. Facilities not as promised. No calm spaces. Protesters loudly striking out front with horns. Had to cross picket line to enter. Elevator broken 2 days
Breakfast area understaffed and sticky. Pool area unruly. Bed frame was dirty white faux fur. Hotel in generally bad condition. Very unhappy. Many disappointments and no one to address problems was available. We are a family of 6 adults in 3 rooms. Our main suite was supposed to provide a gathering area for welcome cocktails. Furniture was musty. We just wanted to get away. We were there for wedding weekend. It was disaster for everyone who stayed there for our wedding event. So many of our friends shared their bad experience at the coda with us. Coda management needs to have a summit and make a plan to clean hotel from top to bottom and fix broken facilities. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at any price. We felt unrespected at the Coda. It was gross and sad

Every surface felt Dirty. Place was Understaffed. Broken main elevator 2 days. Front entrance elevator broken with no one at front desk to help . Poor experience. No calm spaces. Bugs on floor. Rooftop always closed. Pool had unruly “day pass” people. Entire facility not as promised on website. Hotel entrance had protesters chanting against management honking horns. We could hear it in our rooms. It was deafening. Our weekend was ruined.

Pool hours 10-6 could not use pool outside these times. Was told to come early to get a recliner but pool doesn’t open until 10, and then the public can come to use the pool and recliners are reserved for day use only renters not hotel guests.
