Positives:
Great location and just as nice as the surrounding more expensive hotels I've stayed at. Didn't get to use the pool as it was a short stay, but looked super nice and available for free to guests. This neighborhood is really nice for people who want to get out of business manhattan, but still have access to a lot of bars, restaurants and shopping. Highly recommend!

Great hotel in Williamsburg!
Positives:
Really great location, close to the park and all the restaurants / coffee / shops you could ever want. Subway is 10 mins walk away and gets you right into Manhattan. Grab a really great sandwich from a place called Club Club in the nearby park - 10/10!
Negatives:
The room occasionally smelt of weed, we think through the vents in bathroom or via the main AC system. Guests / visitors to the pool area also smoking, there are signs saying this isn't allowed but staff seemed not worried by this.

The safety deposit box in the room was not working and they were unable to fix it because the part wasn’t available. Requested sheets to be changed but no one came up to change.

Great location in Williamsburg near the L, G and Ferry, unusual treat to have a pool on site. Coffee and fruit provided.
Negatives:
The overall finish of the room (and hotel overall) did not meet expectations - slightly scruffy (broken window clasp in room) and generally not "rooted in design" or at all "boutique" in feel. Dingy restaurant/bar area which made us not want to have breakfast on site, even when offered for free as recompense for room not cleaned. Coffee and fruit in reception and pool access (used once) in no way justified the additional daily "resort fee" which was added to the room price - better to stay in a pricier hotel.

Front guest staff were impeccable, honestly best service I’ve received and I stay at lots of different brands and in different cities. I wish that I could remember the bartender’s name but he was super respectful and had exceptional customer service. My first time in NYC, will be back!
