Positives:
The location is great. Situated close to 3 tube/subway stations in Downtown Brooklyn, easy access to food court at the shopping centre across the small park in front. There are few other options to eat around at reasonable price. It is about 15min walking distance to the Dumbo, a nice area with food court and bars with overlooking to the Brookiyn Bridge and Manhattan.
Negatives:
The cleanse of the hotel is poor, the lifts were not working for 2 days, one lift out of four. The hotel has twenty-five floors, and as you can imagine, the waiting time was long before you can get into one. The fichus(plant) next to the fourth lift/elevator, had a finger thick dust, and was like this all the time we stayed (10 days). The breakfast wasn't included in the high price we paid $230/night, and we had the option to get one buffe for $20/person. The quality and the choice were so poor that I can't compare it to even a 2-star hotel. For the rest of our stay, we chose an alternative around the corner for better food and better price.

Nothing, the lobby smelled awful and the Air Conditioning was not working in our room or parts of the hotel when we requested a new room the desk clerk said he didn’t have any at first and then miraculously found a few that we were able to go in and see if the AC was working . Fortunately for us 1 of the 5 options had working AC .

Breakfast wasn’t included we had to decline because it was $20 per person to eat.
Negatives:
I think the night time staff is was unpleasant but the morning staff was very delightful. The night staff didn’t let us know anything about how to work the elevator so someone who is afraid of elevator thought we were stuck and started to panic, I just think that it should have been better communication

Arrived to find that the King room we booked and paid for was no longer available, and no apology, no refund, just told that the only option was a room with 2 doubles. We asked if this occurs often and the representative said “it happens more often than we would like”

Positives:
My room’s air conditioner did not work and it was grossly hot in NYC that night. I became symptomatic with my arthritic autonomic system and felt so sick in the heat. I asked if I could be compensated so I could look for another room . The next day they told me into another room( since I was in no shape to travel.
I called customer service again

I didn’t like that the room was kinda dirty and the lamps didn’t work, phone and air conditioner

Negatives:
Be careful when swiping your credit card for a deposit at the front desk. I swiped my card, and although the machine authorized it, the attendant claimed it hadn't worked and asked me to swipe again. Now, I'm being charged for this deposit, and they're not responding to my messages.

2. I was charged multiple times on my card in excess of 4000 USD because their system defaulted due to internet block.
3. Got stuck in an elevator which was hot as hell for close to 20 min.
