Nicely located in Williamsburg, with a stylish lobby area. The rooftop restaurant was good, with friendly staff but be aware that booking is needed, even for hotel guests.
Negatives:
The room was more claustrophobic than cosy as described, with two people and several cases there wasn’t much space to move around.

Price for the size of the room was over the top.
Stayed there because I often go to the roof top.
However wasn’t aloud access up, was told it was too busy which I found outrageous for hotel guests.
TV on the wall didn’t feature any smart App’s like Netflix or Disney+ (fair enough) but then make sure your TV has signal to tune in actual TV channels.
Called down and staff were rude regarding there being no signal.

location is perfect for us, close to public transport. staff are very helpful and friendly. I love that it is dog friendly. Having access to Laser Wolf restaurant is super awesome-great food and views! And they work with hotel stayers to get a reasonable reservation time (before 10pm).
Negatives:
I wish the rooms were a little bigger and the view was better. I was disappointed with Booking.com because the site said I was given a room upgrade, but it was the same type of room as last year- overlooking construction with no obvious upgrade provided.
I did attempt to communicate with the property through Booking.com site, but never heard back, so I did not bring my dog.

It's not unique to this hoxton but all the hotels could benefit from more hanging space and a foldable luggage rack.
Also the food in all restaurants/cafes are all the same cuisine including room service. Some variance would be good!
