Stones throw from the airport, there is a shuttle, but I was able to walk as well. You can also walk to the free NYC shuttle that takes you to the nearest Subway stop as well.

I wasn't there long enough to dislike anything. It really is best for early flights.

The location was the only positive.

The room was very poorly designed and had no feeling of comfort. The lighting was poor, with no way of having the bathroom light on without lighting up the bedroom. The elevators were so small they couldn’t fit more than 3 people comfortably. The restaurant menu was pathetic. For dinner there was minimal non meat choices. For breakfast they don’t offer any decaf coffee or tea. NEVER have I seen that before. No sensitivity for people with special diets. Will never stay at an Aloft again!

The size of the room! We had an early morning flight so booked this hotel for a night after our stay in Manhattan. And we're actually surprised after seeing the size of the room. Lots of floor and storage space. The shuttle service was convenient and the staff were professional.
