Positives:
Convenient location to JFK without hearing planes all night. Comfortable atmosphere. No locations within walking distance to eat but the hotel offers sandwiches and pizza (extra charge). Pizza was pretty good. Free airport shuttle. Free breakfast was ok.

The price was not great. Not too long ago I could book a hotel like this for around $--. I paid $---for one night.

The hotel is close to JFK airport which was the most important factor. Free breakfast and free shuttle were the other main factors. The bar was open and provided an easy meal after an 18 hour international flight. The return shuttle driver was great!

It is an older hotel but is still nicely maintained.

The entrance door to hotel is too heavy to open and move the luggage inside.It is old fashion heavy door.

I asked for a washcloth and towel. It took 1 hour and a half to get it. I needed to go out however I was extremely delayed

I enjoyed the free coffee bar when you walk in, chips and snacks available for purchase downstairs. They were very courteous, quick in the check in and check out process. The manager even gave us a cup of milk for our children because the store closd.

Run down facility. Not to the level other Hampton Inns we have stayed in.

The only negative thing I can say is that it took about 45 minutes for us to get our shuttle to the hotel, but everyone was friendly room was clean and otherwise it was a good experience.
