Positives: Location convenient for New York JFK Airport.
Negatives: The bathroom clearly had not been cleaned very well, hairs in the bath and sink. The doors on the cabinets in the bedroom looked as if they were close to falling off. I found an unwrapped, sticky piece of confectionery on the carpet below the television and it wasn’t possible to fully close the curtains across the window meaning light was flooding in in the morning making sleeping difficult. I would like to add that the bar not only closed at 10 PM but the person serving drinks was a bit surly in his attitude and did, in fact stop serving people at 9:50 PM.

Positives: Breakfast was good as were check in staff, room was average
Negatives: We has a problem with the shuttle to the hotel: although we informed ahead of time that we wished to use the shuttle, we were not informed (nor was it indicated on the booking.com site) that it is necessary to pre-book this. We only learned this later on at check in. Accordingly when we arrived at the airport we followed the signs marked hotel shuttle to Federal Circle, where we found no options for directly contacting the hotel (as were available for many other airport hotels). Furthermore we tried several times to phone the hotel directly and never got an answer. Eventually we were forced to look for, and after a long frustrating wait to eventually find a taxi to the hotel

Negatives: The driver of the shuttle is extremely rude by choice. He goes out of his away to be rude to people. Like he will engage with you and then be rude.
