Candlewood Suites is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

Great place, great staff
Positives:
Convenient location for travelling around on foot, by subway or train. Useful amenities including decent kitchenette. Good bathroom with a nice shower. Air conditioner was useful to quickly cool down the room after a hot day out.
Negatives:
My first room had small cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. Staff were helpful, but slow to respond. I was eventually moved to another room, which had visible hair, dust, chewing gum and a bottle cap on the floor, plus a slightly stained bed sheet. Decided to make it work and get on with my holiday, but bought disinfectant wipes for use throughout. In my first room the WiFi also dropped out regularly, but staff gave me a different code to use. In both rooms some TV channels were fuzzy or had no sound.
