The hotel is pretty new and clean. The price is okay for Midtown Manhattan.
Negatives:
The most insufficient elevator system in history.
The hotel has many floors but just three elevators. There are actual human traffic jams in the lobby.
The receptionist was very cold and unwelcoming during check-in.
The room is small for the price.

Honestly - not a Courtyard...
Positives:
Welcoming staff, always happy to assist. Upgraded me to a bigger room for free. Room was clean and up to the mark. Location is in close access to public transport. Hotel has a gym and a restaurant. Stay is recommended for solo as well as travel with family.
I did not face any problem and enjoyed my stay. Would be coming back someday for sure.
Negatives:
Foreign travellers have to face a lot of problems in getting refunds of security deposits as well as card decline issues are common with foreign issued debit cards. The hotel should accept cash from foreign travellers.
