the location was in the heart of times square, walking distance to broadway shows, rockafeller center, empire state building, subway and hop on/off buses

the free breakfast was a nightmare each morning- got credit to spend at a coffee shop with huge line up, very limited items and often sold out of everything before 9.30. hotel had no concierge or anyone who wanted go help with bookings or travel plans

At the reception, we had to wait 30 minutes, and the person behind the reception desk had no smile on his face. The other lady was taking care of the customer and seemed friendly. He did not greet, but we wished him.
I had to wait there with my child.

In the room, the lights were not working, the air-conditioning was not working, and the room was not up to the value we paid for.
