Positives: Great view from rooms on the higher floors. Great location in Financial District. Nice restaurants nearby. Close to metro.
Negatives: Long waiting times for the elevator. One time the whole elevator was smelling terribly, since some staff member was inside with a heavy cleaning detergent, so everybody was holding the breath floor to floor.

Positives: It's a good price point.
Negatives: The elevator wait times were unbelievably long. During our entire 3-day stay, one elevator was out of service, and despite repeated attempts to fix it, it kept breaking down. With 44 floors and only three elevators, operating with just two was incredibly frustrating. To make matters worse, there was no air conditioning in the hallways while we waited—sometimes for over 30 minutes. The elevators themselves were also without air conditioning and constantly stopped on every floor, as people kept pressing the buttons in both directions, eventually giving up and opting for the stairs. I especially felt for the guests with luggage trying to move in or out. The best times to use the elevators are between 1-3 pm or after 10 pm, avoiding rush hours and the busy check-in/check-out periods.

Negatives: On arrival being incorrectly charged $250 more than what it was booked for. It was rectified in the end but if I hadn’t queried it it would have been missed. No natural light in room. The elevators took forever to arrive. Always busy - took the stairs mostly down from floor 6.

Positives: The room size is OK for two people although it is not worth for the price. But I think it is similar everywhere in NY, thus I cannot complain. The location is perfect. The hotel is close to Wall St., Staten Island, and other sightseeing places and close to metro stations.
Negatives: The staff is extremely under educated about payment and general hospitality procedures. They messed up with our payment (charging and authorization) that if we didn't object to it they were double-charging us instead of splitting. When we entered the room after check-in there was a guy in the toilet fixing some stuff without informing us. The elevators are not functioning. I have seen people who had to wait more than 20 min before they took the stairs from 20th floor. The A/C has no fan power option, it is either Siberia or a tropical island. The cleaning lady did not speak any English and clearly does not understand that we do not want to be disturbed on the day that we check out.
