The room didn't have a way to refresh its air, except turning on the air-conditioning (which is ok if you switch to the fan mode) or opening the window.

Get what you pay for,...
Positives:
The gentleman who checked me in was a helpful and decent man and I appreciated the way he treated me.
Negatives:
It was an old school hotel that backing the day was pretty terrible, but now they put a clean face on it and done the renovations. Beyond a certain point, though you can't really change the configuration of the building or the rooms. And they're old, and they're weirdly shaped.
But they were clean and the bed was comfortable
