Positives:
Ideal location in the centre of Manhattan. Staff are super helpful and are full of recommendations from Broadway show discounts to where the best laundromats are. Rooms are big enough and bathrooms are very new and clean. Good if you are on a budget
Negatives:
The hotel is very small, the bedrooms feel hostel like, just a sheet and blanket instead of duvet. Windows cannot be fully opened and you cannot see out of them, for me this felt very claustrophobic and I didn’t like that you didn’t get any daylight. The aircon unit was very loud but without it on the room got very stuffy. I am 5’5” and I had to use a chair to reach the aircon unit to turn it on/off. Had I known all of this I probably wouldn’t have booked it but I guess you get what you pay for

The staff, the bedding, the AC, water dispenser in the lobby for employees only that they let us use to refill our water bottles. They extended us a complimentary early check in which we really appreciated.
Negatives:
Lack of a window, thin walls, coloration on some of the bath towels, the elevator was a bit too small. The location is quite central and close to a few metro station and attractions, but midtown is probably one of the worst parts of the island, unfortunately.
