Superb
Positives:
I met so many wonderful people as I've always had when I stay here. I like the new pots and pans in the room. They were a nice set. There was also a pitcher in the refrigerator and that was a nice surprise. My room was in a quiet area which is always appreciated.
Negatives:
The photos that are here will show you. The shower chair was stuck until both my friend and I pulled it down, only to see that one of the legs was broken. Clearly they did work on the shower, but still left the holes and lines on the wall we could see where replacement pipes were put in and the air conditioner had a musty smell coming out of it.. There were watermarks along the wall and on the floor in the bathroom as well. The TV channels (which is no fault of the hotel)but kept glitching and messing up ,as the remote stopped working we didn't get a replacement one. My duvet cover was ripped and head holes in it. I wished that the front desk staff was a little more genial as they are their first person that you see when we enter the hotel it just seemed like they weren't happy to be there and just was not friendly at all. Except for the young man who checked me in he was nice. I love the greeting that has my name on the TV which is such a great touch and it makes you feel welcomed I felt more welcome with the screened greetings moreso than the front desk! I miss the element of years past. I was there during the covid crisis and I actually enjoyed myself more back then than that I did now. It's just not the same and I missed how it was because then it was wonderful. It's credible, not incredible as before.

The staff were super friendly and attentive. Breakfast buffet was good, we were happy with our room on the 36th floor and the view. It also had a kitchenette which was great.
Negatives:
The elevator was the only thing I would complain about. Taking it around breakfast time was the worst. Too many people getting on and too many stops to get down to the first floor.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was great. I stayed here 3 times in the last two weeks as I went out of New York a couple of times and each stay has been a consistent high standard.

Found someone else’s socks in my room on first stay- made me wonder about how well the rooms were cleaned. Everything else was great.
