Good location within reasonable walking distance to most of central Manhattan activities and access to local parks
Negatives:
AC extremely noisy and unable to leave on overnight meaning room got too hot and stuffy.

Positives:
Perfect location in the middle of Manhattan, in walking distance from train station and subway on the corner of the street.
Staff was very friendly, rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable. Very quiet at night, we slept great!
Loved the daily cookies at the reception in the afternoon :-), and the fact that fresh tea/coffee was available all day!
Breakfast was often crowded, not a huge selection but definitely good.
Negatives:
We would have loved some fresh fruit salad in the breakfast buffet.
Water pressure in the shower on our floor was a bit low to our liking.

Great hotel for visiting Manhattan!
Positives:
Great location of the hotel, a street from Empire State Building, close to the subway, restaurants and shops.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
Staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was good, American style.
Coffee and tea available 24 hours a day.
We will definietly want to come back here when we are in NY again....;)

Positives:
The location was awesome! Subway station a block away, Liberty Bagel just a short walk, Herald Square one block away, lots of restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Reyna!

Free coffee and tea 24 hours and occasionally fresh cookies! We didn’t think the breakfast was bad at all. Nothing fancy, but several options (scrambled eggs, do it yourself waffles, toast, yogurt, cereal, chicken sausage). Plan to get to breakfast on the earlier side (8:00/8:30) as it does fill up quickly.
Negatives:
The only gripe we had was there seemed to be a loud across the street, but it was only one night of our stay (over Labor Day weekend) and we were assured by several who work there that is wasn’t a usual occurrence.

Positives:
The hotel room is small but clean and tidy with comfortable beds. The staff are extremely helpful. Towels are provided, which is great. The hotel is in an excellent location, only a block from the Empire State Building. The breakfast is filling.
Negatives:
The breakfast is served using a lot of plastic utensils etc, and although there is a recycling option - this would be much better for the environment if proper plates and cutlery were used.
