Room was very small for the actual cost. The ad in the booking.com app low-lighted the extra fees and taxes which amounted to over 27% of the “price” quoted. The dingy windows of our room opened into a gloomy ventilation shaft in the middle of the building — so no natural light. Plumbing made a rattling noise and the toilet did not work well. Of the two elevators, only one was available during the entire stay.

Nice stay at midtown Manhattan
Positives:
The room was spotless, and the comfort of the bed was incredible! We appreciated the hotel's perfect location because we could walk to many places, such as Times Square, Greenwich, Union Square, etc. I think though the breakfast offer is quite expensive, this is New York prices. You can still eat for $5 or so at Mike's, a little street place a few meters away if you want to get something substantial before hitting the city's ground.

I really loved the beds and the location! The staff was pleasant and our room was actually ready alot earlier. I appreciated that the hotel was also clean.
Negatives:
I was really disappointed in the fact that the AC did not work at all. It was on and you can change the settings however, it was so humid and hot. We felt like we were suffocating and it caused a headache and congestion throughout the night and next morning.
