Negatives: the very small, very dark room on the 5th floor

Negatives: The wasn’t any hot water in the shower and the bathrooms at the lobby were not clean

Negatives: View obscured by broken shade we couldn't raise, engineer couldn't fix. Offered new room for the next day and free bkfst but already unpacked and had own breakfast food. Skimpy sheet and blanket. Desk chair wobbly and no back support. Queen beds didn't have reading lights on both sides.. Ceiling paint peeling in bathroom.

Negatives: We paid an extra cost in order to be on a high floor, the view allegedly breathtaking. First when we got there we were given a room on the 12th floor. I immediately complained but the receptionist was extremely professional and friendly in dealing with the problem. She asked to show her they reservation where it was clearly indicate High floor room. She looked for what was available and gave us a room on the 20th. When we got the room, the first thing I checked was the view. Big deception. View on some boring no character and rather low buildings on 27th street. Outrageous to pay extra for such an appalling and uninteresting view. I go to NYC every 6-8 months. Last time I booked a room in the Springhill suites by Marriott also on the same street. The view was amazing. Unfortunately they had no available room this time. The bed is rather uncomfortable and too soft. Not good for my back. Then one crazy thing tho we were two I was there with my husband, house keeping always left 1 towel for the two of us. We mentioned it several times at the reception but they kept on leaving one towel. So every day I had to call to get a second towel one. Really weird but the cleaning of the room was alway extremely clean. Then air conditioning. It was warm enough to put the ac but the cleaning staff would always turn in on full blast so every night when we’re back it was freezing cold. We both needed an extra blanket to sleep….

Negatives: Poor water pressure and not the nicest pillows.

Negatives: We arrived at night and we had a reservation in advance..and they sold our room..the night manager was nervous and sent us to find a room somewhere else..In the end we returned and the next day they treated us nicely and we also received reasonable compensation... but the story of arriving at night and being given the room to someone else... this has never happened to me In my opinion the breakfast is mediocre minus and not worth the money (in the end we were not charged for it either)

Negatives: The bed has stains on them multiple times even though house keeping came to clean. The “new” sheets they would leave would also have stains. The bed isn’t completely and the pillows are super flat. The tub in the bathroom as well as the toilet seat could use remodeling. The elevator is super small and the wait takes awhile as everyone else is trying to hop on. The view from the hotel also wasn’t the best.

Negatives: Lobby downstairs needs to be updated in addition to the public restrooms downstairs were out of order. Walls are thin so you can hear everyone down the hallway and the garbage trucks at 5AM. The bathroom did not have a towel rack which was inconvenient. It was odd that they had a sign for a "complimentary breakfast" which was "$15", wrong choice of words.
