No outward booking. No sightseeing support. Staff couldn't answer many questions about locations and how to get from one place to the next. The air con was too close to the bed

Comfy but could have had...
Positives:
This is the second time we have stayed here in less than 6 months. The location allows for easy walking to lots of NYC sights and despite being on a cross-street, accessing Uber is fairly easy. There are many places to eat or get coffee within a 5-10 minute walk. The room and bathroom are always clean, neat, and an excellent use of a small space. There is intentional security (only room keycards allow people onto guest floors). The staff are always helpful and despite managing lots of arrivals and check-outs, they get the job done with a pleasant attitude! Overall, we love this location and it allows us to work and play in NYC.
Negatives:
When using Uber/taxis, it was difficult many times turning right from 6th Avenue onto West 46th Street. Due to a large parking garage just west of the hotel, many cars get stuck and the traffic piles up westward towards 6th Avenue. Many times, we sat 50 feet from the corner and just decided to jump out and walk down 46th Street to the hotel. This is fine in spring/summer, but if you are visiting in the winter, be prepared to either sit in traffic or be willing to walk. That parking garage messes things up fierce!
