At time of booking, bookingDotCom emailed:
‘You'll pay when you stay at Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square North’
Yet Hilton debited my € credit-card before checkin
Hilton reverted that on checkin and switched to my debit card, but it remains to be seen if my Irish cc company charges me a currency exchange fee.
I would prefer not to have to resolve stuff like this on my break.
Bottom line, payment conditions were not as originally advertised on BomingDotCom when I booked nor as stated in the BookingDotCom email
