Lovely rooms & great friendly staff. Loved the fact it had a laundry room on site.
Negatives:
I didn’t like on leaving my luggage for storage that it was left unmanned while people were walking by. I didn’t feel comfortable walking away until I knew it had been stored away. The staff were lovely even though they didn’t understand my concerns.

Lovely central hotel & all...
Positives:
A good location with easy access to a number of tourist sights. Breakfast was good if a little repetitive.
Negatives:
The air conditioning unit was extremely loud and being positioned close to the bed did not aid restful sleep. We couldn't find out how to turn it off as no instructions were available.
The coffee machine in our room was broken, twice we asked for it to be fixed and they said they would but nothing happened.
The lifts were terrible and two days out of the three we were there one wasn't working which made the situation worse.
Breakfast didn't start until 7 which meant on our last day we couldn't have breakfast, even though we had paid for it, as we had to leave the hotel at 6.45.
We have stayed in many Hilton Hotels around the world this one was the worst by far.

Bed was comfortable.
Room was a good size.
Located in easy walking distance of Broadway, Central Park, restaurants and bars and subway.
Helpful attendant on checking out, stored our cases efficiently and arranged a taxi to airport promptly.
Excellent service in restaurant.
Negatives:
We requested a room change as engineers weren't able to ease the door to enable it to open without excessive force.
The deposit taken was not explained clearly, initially our bank statement indicated we may have paid for two rooms.
Sliding door to shower room was noisy. Difficult to raise lid of coffee maker sufficiently to fill, instructions faded.
Reception needed to be reminded we had booked breakfast. Takes a while to contact reception by phone. A long wait for lift when busy. City view disappointing.

Location was ideal for why I was in New York.
Negatives:
Only 2 elevators were working. It took 20 minutes to get to my room upon arrival because of slow and full elevators. I waited 10 minutes for an elevator to reach my floor when I went out later. Plus one elevator smelled like roach spray. The shower spray was so far above my head, I found it hard to get clean. Would only stay here again on sale price.
