Positives:
We loved the location next door to Battery Park and close to the Piers. Our room had a gorgeous view overlooking the water next to the Staten Island ferry. The staff was friendly, room was clean and the bed was comfy! My oldest is about to start college in the financial district and I know we’ll be back again!
Negatives:
The ice machine wasn’t working on our floor. However, the staff member warned us at check in and sent us up ice immediately. Excellent quick remedy that we appreciated!

Breakfast was good but over priced but it was expected to be.

I had items stolen from my room. Management did nothing about it. My husband told me to tell them we found it and just to leave a review to let others know of this. They don’t offer room service unless asked. I never asked yet they still came into my room and stole. They literally had to dig through our clothes to steal what was stolen. Management just said they wouldn’t steal. No apologies or anything. Basically that I was lying. Coming down the elevator three ladies also had things missing from their room. Management won’t do a thing about it. I’ve never experienced this at any other hotel. I’ve never had my things stolen. On the website it even states you have to ask for room service a day in advance. I asked her why they even came in when I didn’t request it and she didn’t have an answer. I’ll never stay at Hilton again.

My second time here in the past year. Love the cleanliness and how safe I feel here. The beds are sooooo comfortable. The accessibility between activities in Manhattan and Brooklyn are perfect.

Just like when I visited last August every night I would have to come back down stairs upon returning to get washcloths and towels

The hotel is in an excellent location and the bed was super comfortable.
Negatives:
My room and the hallway smelled of cigarettes. The windows in the rooms open, so I assume people figure they can get away with smoking in their rooms with the window open rather than go outside. Also the room was musty and I noticed some dust/ mold on the AC vents. This hotel is in need of some refreshment.

Room and neighborhood were quiet during the night hours, furniture was of good quality, there was decent size mini-fridge, microwave and coffee maker in the room. Room was clean. Check-in and check-out through the app. Multiple subway stops within short walk.
Negatives:
AC could not keep up with the heat, the room was hot during the day and warm during the night. There was no handheld shower in the bathroom.
