Under construction so had to take 2 separate elevators each time we went up or down. Taxis, Ubers, etc always wanted to drop us off on W 42nd - several times we had to walk around the block to get to tell entrance. Carpet was wet in room when we arrived. Sink area pretty small for 2 folks. Bathtub drained super slow.

overall the hotel was fine. I do not prefer to stay in time square but it was close to our meeting location. Not having a restaurnt or bar option in the hotel was very disappointing. in the morning there is not a place to meet up with coworkers to discuss business before the day started off. The breakfast area that was available we were told we could not sit there unless we ordered breakfast. We only wanted coffee and a place to sit together. The waiter was so rude and said if we sat there he would charge us $21 for coffee. He also told my collegue if he was going to sit at the table he had to throw out the coffee he just purchased at the market. I get it they are working for tips but I just didn't find that anyone wanted to be accommodating and found it rude. The waiter was also staring at us the entire time we sat at the table. I will never stay there again.

Hotel was under construction. We had a brief morning business chat (four of us). There was no place to sit. The restaurant was open and 20 tables empty. The server would not allow us to sit down for 20 minutes to chat. Said we had to buy the $21 breakfast. We just wanted coffee. I had a coffee in hand from the market. He made me throw it away. We sat at the table, had black coffee and we each had to pay $21. Most expensive coffee ever. Not cool.
