I made a reservation for a double room, and the guy at the reception gave me a double bed room, where it clearly said in the reservation DOUBLE ROOM not double bed, It was an unfortunate moment since neither the receptionist was kind.

This is my second time staying at the Holiday Inn Manhattan sixth Avenue Chelsea. The first time we had a very tiny room and we were coming off a longer trip so it was difficult to move around and the suitcases were in the way I was upgraded to a higher floor with a nice view and a peekaboo of the world trade tower, and it was more spacious. It was actually so quiet on the 22nd floor and 26th is a very quiet street. I slept so well. The staff was really nice.
Negatives:
For a hotel, the size, the two elevators were not enough. I don’t know if there’s anything they could do about this. I assume it’s an older building that had been renovated, but there were often lines waiting for the elevator on the floors or in the lobby unfortunately because one of the elevators was out on the morning I was departing I had to walk down 22 floors in order to make it to my flight
