Positives:
The bed and desk chair were comfortable. The shower water pressure was great (strong). The housekeeping was excellent. Most of the staff were friendly.
Negatives:
The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in (had to be under 200 sf). I have stayed at dozens of hotels in NYC and thsi was by far the smallest. I felt claustrophobic. Gaps around the door allowed many sounds to permeate the room. Loud neighbors were easy to hear. Some of the front desk staff were very friendly and greeted you coming and going. Others just stared at you. Lastly, the tiny French bakery has nice pastries, but the wait at anytime of the morning is at least 20 mins. I would have appreciated a $10 credit to the Starbucks across the street. I HATE resort fees! I know this is becoming common place but it is a bad practice. I suppose they need to subsidize the bakery.
