Positives:
The location is superb, the rooms are nice, but of course small and pocket doors on the restrooms are not the best thing even though it's understandable due to the sizes of the rooms. Comfortable beds, everything was clean. The food could have been replenished more often and the options are ok but not excellent. Good experience overall.
Negatives:
Even though we took no water bottles from the room they still charged them and ignored the inquiry about it. 10USD is not an issue as much as the attitude.

Positives:
The location was great. I never had breakfast because the selection was very limited and not worth the time it took to wait on the elevator or have to walk up 45 flights of steps back to our room.
Negatives:
The room was very small. As soon as you walk in the door you’re on the bed. The television in our room didn’t work so they had to move our room for the second night of our stay. You really had to plan ahead to get on the elevator which could take up to 30 minutes to come and was always packed. The bathroom doors didn’t provide much privacy.

Maybe it’s the cultural shock or no but to eat breakfast( at four star hotel )and to eat it with a plastic fork - that’s a big no for us. We kindly asked for a metal forks but they said they did not have any available at the moment(we stayed 5nights and they did not have metal forks for all stay) However they did have metal knifes and spoons. Same with plastic cups for water/juice and coffee. We are at four star hotel, we are moving towards sustainability please use normal cups and cutlery

Fantastic, would book again.
Positives:
The hotel is super well located, 3mn from 2 subway stations and 10mn walk to Madison Square Park. There are plenty of shops and restaurants everywhere in the neighborhood. The rooms are clean and big enough for a hotel in NYC. If you're lucky, you can have a view of the Empire State Building from your room!
Negatives:
Breakfast is included... until you find a table that is not broken and a chair to enjoy it. It's one of the very few hotel that has breakfast included, so it's plenty of family parties who try to eat in the morning at all times. Be prepared to fight for a place.
There are only 3 elevators for a 35+ stories building with 8 rooms per story: be patient at rush hours (during breakfast for instance)
AC is really noisy.
