Kimpton Hotel Theta an IHG Hotel

Negatives: Noise from service elevator could be heard around the clock. Had to change rooms to other end of hall after 2 days. No restaurant or bar. Front doors required touching pad to operate; should be motion-sensor driven.

Negatives: The safety protector on the window was either broken or missing which allowed the window to open all the way. I had my grandchildren with me in 14th floor. It was terrifying.

Negatives: Everything was great.

Negatives: Nothing

Negatives: Only little things, like the bathroom is small, and the door hits the tub at about 90 degrees. Totally not a huge deal at all, though.

Negatives: Can't sleep in the room due to Night time construction to build a bar And when i called the reception and manager they lied about it to keep me silent... to avoid complains. I told them and showed them my room to let them hear the noise, they did none Such a shame to allow night time construction and ontop to lie about it to cover up for their unprofessional illegal behavior. The worst hotel I've ever visited

Negatives: All of the money was spent on the lobby design. The rooms are quite poor equipped, the ventilation system in the bathroom wont work. so when you take a shower you have to be ready either for the lack of air or you should be washing yourself with an open door if you dont want to choke. Sometimes you would experience problems with water supply. for example, they totally cut off the water supply for the day during my stay. I was not able even to wash my hands or face when I got there after a long day in the city. no water at all - no cold, no warm. they told that that problem occurred on the 15th floor and many guests are experiencing the same and I should wait patiently. Oh really?? they just have 3 floors operating right now, so if 1 of them is cut from water supply, then 33% of your guests are left without water. sure thing they are gonna complain! furthermore, THE HOTEL IS COMMITTIMG FRAUD WITH BANK CARDS. I had a fully prepaid room, (I paid for it via booking.com), the price of the room included the room itself, the resort fee, the city tax. everything was paid several days before my arrival. So the hotel just had to reserve some money for the incidental charges, then release it and thats all. but when I checked out, I got a message from my bank, that the hotel charged me with additional 120$. I asked the hotel whats the reason and they told me that they took resort/facilities fee and city tax from my card. and refused to cancel the operation. so be ready that they dont know how to deal with booking and are going to continue charging you and your bank card afterwards. and they didnt release the incidental fee, however the room was left clean and nothing was broken in it. thats not a 5 star hotel, dont be fooled by the rating! CHOOSE ANOTHER ONE FOR YOUR BANK ACCOUNT SAFETY

Negatives: We would've liked more on-site food options.

Negatives: The receptionist was very rude I waited 15 minutes to be checked in all while I was told the internet wasn't working meanwhile other guests were checking in front of me like im just standing around twiddling my fingers oh now you decide u want to assist me I would not recommend this place they have homeless people hanging around out front on the property and a police mobile out front stationed definitely not something I wanna see while im staying at a place that makes you feel like it not safe to stay

Negatives: The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable.
