Air Condition was not cool enough and sleep was not comfortable.
Parking is a facility close to the hotel and charged $60 PER DAY for my car (large 3 seater) for a total of $240 for 4 days.

The staff was OUTSTANDING, friendly , professional, personable, helpful. They were super responsive to our specific needs and requests. The rooms were clean and comfortable, The elevators were fast and efficient , little to no waiting. The nightly wine and non-acholic option was great. A nice time to socialize with other guests. The location was fantastic to many attractions, Times Square and Broadway. It was a great hotel and a great stay. Parking was right next door to the house.

Positives:
Absolutely perfect central location for a theatre hopping few days. Bed was extremely comfortable. We loved the soft sheets and cozy comforter so much we want to order them for ourselves! Room was spacious enough for two with a very nice table and seating arrangement to relax and enjoy a quick bite when not hungry enough to head out to a restaurant, with two terrific sandwich shops directly across the street. We never had to wait more than thirty seconds for an elevator, a rare occurrence in other NYC hotels where we’ve stayed. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and free wine in the lobby from 5pm - 6pm was another reason to recommend. We didn’t try the breakfasts so I cannot comment on that, but next time. The Kimpton Theta is definitely our first choice of hotels for our next trip to New York.

The water fountain was out of service and I had to buy water bottles everyday.
A bit expensive but good for NYC
The room smelled cigarettes eventhough they changed the sheets daily.
The AC wasn’t working properly and we mentioned it the first day but they didn’t fix it nor change the room
