Unbearable extremely noisy powerful electric fan in the toilet room which cannot be switched off!!! Unacceptable for a hotel where customer pays $750 per night! What made things worse was that when I complained at the reception I was told that ALL rooms have this problem and that they have passed this message to management but nothing happened...! Room furnishing is aged.

Poor communication pre and during the stay. Our suite wasnt booked and I had to split my family for the first night. Which was very unsettling. No light in toilets, minimal toiletries (no bathrobes / no kettle), tv system not reliable. Staff are kind but management didnt respond to emails and non existant.

Th penthouse bar was often closed in usual business hours. It was closed on Saturday afternoon, opening at 4.00 I went to a show on Sunday, returned to the hotel at 10.47, only to find it was closed. Reception advised not under same management, and if not busy, they choose to close early. I am now left wandering the streets of NY looking for an alternative bar. No restaurant facilities. The restaurant attached again is independently run, and again advised by reception, not able to specify when it will be open or closed with certainty. For a hotel holding itself to be one of the big boys, it needs to properly manage all the facilities reasonably expected of a hotel charging these prices. It took me four requests to have new towels and the bed made.
