location and the staff was fine, other than that nothing met our expectations and price-performance ratio was way poor. pool was a disaster. room was terrible. not even we found the coffee and tea packages in the room and asked for them again and again. ıt was like a motel room in the middle of nowhere. and the view wa not only terrible but more than that horrible.

everything needs a further revision form a to z. when ı talked about this matter with the staff they accepted all criticism ı brought fore and the openly apologized. the dinner room, the prices and the sound level of the orchestra was also very distracting.

Good location to access different parts of NYC and general staff were friendly.
Negatives:
I am familiar with the Mondrian brand and this hotel simply was not up to expectations. Rooms are small, not well taken care of (scuffs on walls and drawers, doors look like locks are about to fall off), and amenities were not topped up each day (once you run out of water, they don’t top it up, and furthermore did not clean the rubbish). They advertise that there is a rooftop bar/lounge, which was not operating at any time whatsoever.

Location was as described. i booked a bigger room and the size was as expected and good with a big bathroom, so very pleased with it. the rooms was clean as well and AC working well. the view for the roof terrace is also amazing.
Negatives:
continental breakfast is ridiculously cheap (not good and with limited choice), obviously nothing cooked as there is no kitchen.
there is no food offer at all! which means you can use the rooftop to bring and eat your own stuff for diner for example ! very weird for a 4* hotel.
very limited interaction with the hotel staff hiding behind their reception desk as there is no proper lobby...
this is not a 4* hotel with associated expected services.

Bathroom floor essentially flooded everytime you shower, housekeeping did nothing but make the bed and give you fresh towels. By the end of my stay (9 days) bathroom smelled like piss. Front desk staff was unbothered and unhelpful, one girl actually called me a bitch - my door didn’t latch behind me and I told someone about it multiple times. It was never addressed, just bad
