The ambiance of the hotel was great. I really liked the fact that when you check in you are able to get free soda and candy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved that the restaurant my boyfriend wanted to eat at was right on the 2nd floor of the hotel. So we didn't need to go out at all.
Negatives:
I didn't like the room set up. I think it's geared towards a younger crowd. It was cool to stay there once, but I wouldn't stay again. I like more spacious rooms.
And the cost for an overnight stay was very expensive. I bit the bullet because it was my boyfriend's birthday.

Love this hotel. Room is compact but has all you really need for a great stay in NYC. Staff are outstanding and the vibe is excellent - I'd always pick this one whenever I'm in NYC and it was great to be able to bring my colleagues here and introduce them. Thanks!

I was so excited to stay at the MOXY for the first time as it was recommended by a friend, but on arrival I found the room was a lot smaller that your photos suggest and it says there is a desk/workspace in each room - mine didn't have one, I could live with that but the bathroom was dirty when I arrived and during my 4 night stay the room was only cleaned once (even after i asked). the icing on the cake - my room overlooked the courtyard above the bar - which meant on my first night there was really loud music playing (apparently a party) until 4am on other nights gone midnight - I live in a city so do expect noise but this was party central!
