Positives:
Nice, trendy hotel in a great location near Union Square and convenient subway stops. The common areas including the bar and first floor hang-out spaces were great. There was a small outdoor space off the bar. They had a restaurant and rooftop bar next door as well. Rooms were nicely decorated and bed was comfortable.
Negatives:
The rooms were pretty small and the bed was up against the wall so it could only be accessed from one side (this was ok for single traveler but may not be great for a couple). There is a $30/day "resort fee" which guests could use to purchase items at the bar/cafe in the hotel.

The location was great. The staff were kind and very helpful it feel there making an effort to help and give the best service. The cafe was great and the door there is good.
Negatives:
The room didn't have small refrigerator so you can keep drinks cold. At the room the didn't give any water or free drinks. The room is very small. They didn't clean up the trash at all and the room was smelly (I stayed for 2 nights).
