Positives:
The location was excellent. I liked that I was in East Village and could walk just about everywhere, I like that there were good vegetarian restaurants near by.
Negatives:
I suppose it is because of the age I am (60), on Friday after we went came back from a concert we went to a bar for a drink, the bar area seemed to become a night club and was loud. So we cut it short and went to bed. There was no other are for us to go and have a conversation.

There is no waiting area and the elevators are slow. You can’t sit while you wait for the elevators which take time, I found that a bit weird. Also please for the love of god, get new hair dryers. They are old and slow

I appreciated the accommodating staff, especially Nicki. She helped me organize a late checkout and breakfast. The location was perfect. The room was small but well-organized and felt spacious.

I was a little confused about ways to access the rooftop garden. It would be great to have information in the room about the split nature of the property and the access paths.

Rooms were tiny but well designed . There were several different dining and bar areas which were truly unique . Excellent cappuccino and a daily dining credit with our deal. Staff were very friendly .
Negatives:
Valet parking $70. Also somehow my reservation was put in the wrong name which made it difficult to retrieve.

Positives:
The staff are great, particularly Catalina at the Alphabet Bar. I love that they closed in the atrium (when I first stayed there is August it was open). It's a great space to work or have a drink. The rooms are spacious enough (it is NYC) and they are cleverly designed to allow for the maximum storage. The location is amazing--close to Union Square, within walking distance to SoHo and beyond.
Negatives:
The gym is super tiny and while there are mats, there's not really the floor space to put them. The coffee shop is great, but because most guests (evidently) use their F&B credit to buy coffee and pastries, it's too small to accommodate everyone and it's a juggernaut in the mornings. I went for the free coffee and then used the credit at the bar or for a late-morning snack.
