Great location and very friendly...
Positives:
Clean and very well decorated. The property is clearly aiming to be good with the Instagram crowd and remains successful with that part.
Negatives:
Rooms were tiny, for four people a single room with queen beds is still not enough. The toilet and shower are just within the bed space so it’s very awkward in a group of friends to use the bathroom or shower since there is no privacy to change. There was pretty much no tissue paper, garbage bags liners or toothpaste in the hotel room so trying to figure out what the room served us with. It’s only good if you’re coming into the room to sleep. It serves no other purpose. Definitely think we got ripped off to the max and we should have gone elsewhere. If you have to pay over $300 for the room, just go stay at a hotel which has all amenities and space.
I picked this hotel on purpose because we wanted to go to the Highlight Room to celebrate my sister’s birthday but we weren’t allowed in due to time? Not sure why they closed at 10pm when it’s literally advertised differently so that killed the vibe.

Fine for one night but...
Positives:
Great rooftop bar, comfortable bed and nice room, lovely amenities, roof top bar is fabulous and free continental breakfast is a nice touch. Close to China town and Little Italy and subway.
Negatives:
It's very much a party vibe and super funky, which we loved but isn't for everyone. We could hear the music from the rooftop bar until very late at night but luckily for us we're deep sleepers and it didn't bother us too much. It wasn't that loud but loud enough that we could hear it. The staff are not overly polite or helpful, it felt like I was the biggest inconvenience every time I asked for assistance with something. They also don't communicate things and you have to ask proactively for basic/ useful information eg what is included in your $30 a day city/resort fee.
The room is also TINY. Pretty standard for New York but this was the smallest room I've ever stayed in, in NYC, you cannot open a suitcase in a standard room.
There is also no mini bar or small fridge, it's nice to have a small fridge to keep water cold when you're travelling.
Just little things, but worth noting as they did slightly impede on our stay, we did overall have an awesome time and enjoyed our stay!
