Positives: Staff on the front desk were very polite and were very willing to help out with any issues. The bed was really comfortable and the room decorated nicely, with the bathroom being a highlight. Nice spacious shower and a very clean room overall. We particularly like the outside seating area, and it's a good looking hotel from the kerbside.
Negatives: Air conditioning in the room was not working correctly. For three nights the AC control panel said the room temperature was between 26.5 & 28 degrees celsius. Reported this to the front desk after the second night who sent someone out to fix this, but it was to no avail. It was a warm week of the year, with 30 plus degrees outside which made for an extremely warm room. The room itself is small and made for difficulties when looking to store x2 large cases and not an awful lot of clothing storage in the room.

Positives: It was a good sized room for NYC and the bed was comfortable
Negatives: I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel due to the terrible customer service and poor treatment we experienced. We reserved a room for three nights on June 2nd, and upon our arrival to check in on July 19th at 8:00 PM, the receptionist informed us that our reservation had been cancelled at 5:00 PM due to a declined card. This statement then changed to the cancellation occurring at 7:00 PM. This was puzzling since we had been using this card without any issues throughout our trip. We had just landed in NYC after a long flight, and without a room. When we asked if we could use another card to complete the booking, we were told that no rooms were available. Further questioning revealed that our booking had been cancelled just 10 minutes before our arrival by booking.com, but we received no notification, and the booking still appeared fine on the app. This situation seemed suspicious, especially since our room was cancelled shortly before our arrival and there were no available rooms. It became clear that the hotel likely cancelled our reservation, probably assuming we wouldn't show up, and then sold the room to another guest without contacting us to confirm our stay. Finding a last-minute hotel room for three people in New York City without breaking the bank seemed impossible. The receptionist's suggestion to try a nearby Hilton was not helpful. Surprisingly, a different staff member informed us that a room had become available for that night. We were told we could book it immediately and then arrange a longer stay the next day, even staying in the same room. This sudden availability was baffling. The next day went smoothly until our final night when our key cards stopped working. We were told that the payment had been declined again and were refused the option to change the payment card. At 1:00 AM, we were denied access to our room, which contained all our belongings.

Positives: Location was fantastic and the staff were so helpful friendly and professional. Very quiet for Manhatten and rooms were very well sized again for New York. Aveda toiletries which was a nice luxury.
Negatives: So nice to have water on hand in the lobby but just a little disappointed with the quantity of plastic bottles.

Negatives: No fridge in the room, no fan in the bathroom. Found it very humid, stale air. Beds too small for two people. Pictures show there is a pool but it’s not for guests. Found that out after we arrived. Didn’t know about the club on the highest floor. Lots of people coming to party.

Positives: Friendly and polite staff. Beautiful decor. Clean. Attentive and respectful cleaning staff. Great location.
Negatives: No TV at bar. Outdoor patio/courtyard not in use. No TV in outdoor area connected to watch any sporting events (even though there was a TV w/Roku on a table...it was not connected). Unable to view the rooftop before 5 pm because it was full due to the pool.
