Location was good and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Negatives:
The bed - a mattress on the floor. No side tables. One chair; no other furniture. Bathroom walls: see-thru glass; no privacy. Towel rack right under the ceiling; had to jump to get a towel (I'm 5'6"). A live roach on the floor, next to the mattress.

I loved the location of this hotel (between Greenwich V and Times Square). The staff at the bar and in reception was engaging and helpful.
Negatives:
I was not informed the pool was closed before my visit and the pool was a big part of what sold me on the hotel. Saw mice in the main floor dining area. The server was oddly specific about the seating in the always empty room-very unwelcoming!

The room was terrible. Mattress on wooden platform, which made it hard to get in and out of the bed. One of the bed slats were broken so bed was uncomfortable. No chair or anywhere to put bags. No useable shelf in bathroom. 3 loud parties during our stay.

Its a hot spot for young people, with rooms. Not really a serious hotel. The AC didnt work. The concrete floor was slippery. The once-cool minimalist design is now shabby. Its dangerous for people over fifty.

rooms are too small for the price I paid (nearly 600 USD) and it's noisy on the street, you cannot sleep with full dark because the light and curtains that does not exist except a light one more fore a litle privacy...

The location is it's best asset.
Negatives:
The first room I got was not very clean and the shower didn't work. They upgraded me to a much better room. As others said, food and drinks sold on the premisses are totally overpriced). Finally, the phone reception didn't work one morning.
