Lost my delivery package... Had 3 homeless chasing me down the street, i managed to enter the hotel lobby to see the front desk do NOTHING and no security personnel available.
I was assaulted within the hotel lobby at 10pm at night... Very dangerous region to walk at night.

Sheraton Tribeca,
To Whom It May Concern,
I am Victoria Casaurang; I stayed at the Sheraton in Tribeca Hotel with my family from September 25 through October 2. We had two suites, 1520 & 1617. We made these reservations through Booking.com, where it clearly stated that cash payment was acceptable, that is the only reason why we made the reservations.
However, when we arrived, we were told that a different credit card for each room had to be left on file as protection but that the card would not be accredited.
When it was time to leave and checkout, we paid for the rooms in cash and were told that a receipt would be sent to the email on file; proof of payment was received, and its attached hereon.
Shortly after we arrived back home, I checked the credit card statement and noticed the credit cards were also charged. I double-paid for my stay, and because of this, I am asking that you investigate and refund the money as soon as possible.
I have attached credit card statements as well as the proof of payment. Since time is of the essence, I respectfully request your prompt attention to this matter.

The area is good if you want to be in Soho. Thats the only positive thing about this hotel.
Negatives:
Its an old hotel. The rooms might be more spacious then in other hotels in NYC but the quality and the cleaning must be improved. The carpets are old and dirty. The furnitures as well. The AC does not work properly. It was super warm and humid in the room all the time ( 6 nights)!!! The smell wasnt nice at all. For those who think its a European quality of Sheraton -avoid this hotel. Its a 2 star in Europe standard.
