The balcony is pretty much the only positive.
Negatives:
Very small room (even though it was the premium "Deluxe Queen with Terrace" room) and unsecure open wifi network. My room reservation claimed to include breakfast for 15USD. This was of course a lie, since the hotel only offers la carte menu, with not even a dish worth less than 22 dollars and was not mentioned anywhere. When confronted the receptionist, he said that I am not the only person that has complained and only acknowledged the fact that this is misleading marketing and just did nothing about it, very helpful behavior!

Positives:
The location was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom both spacious. I liked to look out of the window on our first morning to see the streets of New York waking up. We enjoyed the cookie.
Negatives:
The reception was nonchalant. In retrospect we thought the hotel very expensive for what it was. Everything was pricey in the restaurant, room service and mini bar. We were too tired on arrival to go out so we just had something from the mini bar. We were also charged $5 on the final bill for something.
